isoHunt http://www.isohunt.com/ is another large indexing site, has almost 2 million free bittorents and a large user base. You can search torrents and check their "isoHunt Rank": a combinatiin of factors like age, number of comments, user feedback, and more. Sorting by isoHunt Rank allows you to probe a little deeper to see which torrents are rated best overall, instead of just best in their subcategory.
